Chander Prakash Bhatia

Mr Chander Prakash Bhatia is a Fellow Member of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants of India with 36+ years of experience holding leadership positions across organization, as Managing Director- Hindustan Fluorocarbons Ltd , Director Finance – Hindustan Organics Chemicals Ltd ,  CGM (Finance and Accounts) – REC Ltd, (A Maharatna PSU under Ministry of Power, Govt. of India). 

During his tenure he has led as CEO, CFO and served on many executive positions  and has extensive experience in organisational and financial planning, formulation of financial policy, accounting, management control systems, cash and funds management, tax planning, mobilization and management of resources, liaison with financial institutions and capital markets, treasury functions, lending operations, corporate risk management and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He also assisted in identifying areas requiring risk assessment, mitigation, strengthening of internal controls, resource mobilisation, loans disbursement, recovery, projects appraisal, stressed assets management, fraud risk management, corporate accounts, taxation, monitoring of projects, and compliance of Indian Accounting Standards.

 He has been extensively involved in Internal Audits of GAIL, REC Ltd. and  KRIBHCO, 

Other assignments undertaken include verification and certification for purchase and consumption of Natural Gas for calculation of Gas Pool Price, in terms of MoPNG notification regarding guidelines for pooling of gas in Fertiliser (Urea) Sector, certified  Redemption of Bonds series raised by UPPCL, utilisation of working capital loans by KFL etc.

He is also invited as a Faculty in NTPC School of Business, NOIDA  for delivering lectures on various Finance related areas.
